Last Friday, Ayesnur Eygi, a 26-year-old US citizen, was killed by IDF fire during a protest in the village of Beita. Eygi was an activist with ISM, the "International Solidarity Movement" - a so-called "resistance" group that supports Hamas and Hezbollah. The group has worked against Israel for years including by carrying out provocations, encouraging boycotts, and spreading lies.
Towards the beginning of the war, HaKol HaYehudi reported on several ISM activists who operated in the Hebron Hills region and who harassed military forces. We also highlighted that several of these activists expressed support for Hamas and Hezbollah while being granted visas to stay in Israel. A report prepared by HaKol HaYehudi on the issue was also presented to the War Cabinet.

Recently, we identified an increase in the number of ISM delegations arriving in Israel, especially to the Hebron Hills area, the Jordan Valley, and the village of Qutsra in Binyamin (not far from Beita). We reached out to multiple government authorities who were willing to speak with us. Despite our warnings, aside from a few isolated cases, the authorities failed to recognize the threat posed by these anarchists and did not expel them from the country despite having the legal authority to do so.
Unlike radical Israeli anarchists, who legally can only be restricted from entering areas for short periods of a few days, foreign anarchists can have their visas revoked and be expelled from the country.
Our investigative report nearly a year ago led several activists from ISM to flee to Ramallah to avoid being expelled. One activist claimed in an interview with La Verdad Noticias, a Mexican media outlet, that after her details were published in Israeli media (referring to the HaKol HaYehudi investigation), she and other ISM activists left the Hebron Hills area and fled to Ramallah.
“I’m trying to survive, that’s how I felt, that’s how it feels in the past few weeks. My picture appeared in Israeli media along with several friends from ISM, along with calls for us to be expelled or attacked by settlers or occupation forces. We’ve become a military target,” said the activist.
Ultimately following the investigation, at least one ISM activist was expelled from Israel.
The ISM organization was also exposed in the television program ‘Informant,’ which is put together by the Ad Kan organization and Tzvi Yehezkeli on Channel 13. There ISM was revealed to be cooperating with Hamas against Israel.
Paul Larudee, the organization’s leader, praised the Oct 7th. massacre carried out by Hamas and published a video stating that "our Palestinian brothers and sisters taught the Zionists a lesson." Several of the ISM activists currently in Israel, primarily in Judea and Samaria, have expressed support for Hamas and Hezbollah, as well as for the resumption of suicide bombings against Israel.
