Information received by Hakol Hayehudi indicates that at several IDF bases, including top secret bases of the Military Intelligence and Air Force, Arab laborers are currently employed. It should be noted that entry of the general population to these bases requires special approval.

We inquired with the IDF spokesperson about current policies on employment of Arab laborers at sensitive bases of the military intelligence and air force. The spokesperson replied "the laborers are employed by various contractors and subcontractors. We would need more specific information on which company is involved in order to take action. Also, if there are specific workers (not from a specific company, but specific individuals), we would need to know that as well."

Earlier today, Hakol Hayehudi reported in Hebrew that as part of the preparations in the North, IDF forces are constructing fortified positions. Most of the laborers are Arabs who are working alongside the soldiers and among the tanks.

Soldiers from the tank division told Hakol Hayehudi: "When there's a red alert, we hide together in the safe room. It's strange. It's not clear how the IDF can rely on them. It's obvious to us that our positions and locations of forces have been photographed and shared with the enemy. Even the officers worry that when the time comes, the laborers could disable the equipment and we will be stuck."

Various reports have suggested that Arab workers from Gaza may have provided Hamas with intelligence for the surprise attack and massacre in Israel’s southern communities.
