The Israel Police filed an indictment today (Monday) with the Beer Sheva Magistrate Court against two Bedouin from Tel Sheva who worked as garbage disposal workers at a military base in southern Israel. This comes after they exploited their access to the site, during a time of war, in order to steal weapons, ammunition, and tactical gear from the base.
According to the indictment, the two Bedouins who were approved to work in the base, stole hundreds of 5.56 mm bullets, four magazines, 1,000 backpacks, tactical gloves, military fleeces, as well as underwear and hygiene products that were donated by civilians as part of the war effort.
The Bedouin hid the stolen property between the driver's cabin and the waste collection container. They were apprehended moments before they managed to leave the base.
